This box is ideal for storing important documents and other valuable items.It is the perfect size and easy to handle with its manageable weight.

A few negative reviews were seen mentioning how the biometric scanner would not open for anything.However,it is clearly stated that the first thing to do is to program it as the factory setting accepts anything.Once the first fingerprint scan is accepted,it will not open for any other fingers unless you program them in.It seems that the people who were complaining may have only entered a code and not scanned a finger.Make sure to do both for best results! I initially purchased the Large size,hoping it would fit both my daughter's and my pistols for our road trip across States where they need to be securely locked up.However,it turned out to be a little too small due to optics and light,so I decided to order the Super Large size which should work perfectly.I plan to keep both safes and give my old Sentry biometric nightstand safe to my daughter.One of the things I really like about these safes is that your finger can be pointed in any direction,unlike my old one! Additionally,they can hold a lot more scans (40,if I remember correctly,compared to my old one which could only hold 4).

1.Take off the door panel (4 screws) with the safe open and carefully remove the door by loosening the top hinge pin screw using a Phillips screwdriver.You will be able to see it.Gently take out the door.
2.Remove the middle shelf,then gently remove the felt lining.
3.Place the center shelf back in,then measure and cut the wire mesh to fit.
4.Prepare a small batch of high density concrete.
5.Turn the safe on its side and pour the concrete,filling it to about 3/4 - 1 inch.Keep it flat and shake to level it,then let it dry.
6.Repeat steps 4 and 5 until completed.
7.Allow the concrete to dry for several days.
8.Reattach the felt using adhesive spray or brush-on glue.
9.Finally,put the door back in place,reattach the hinge pin and screw,and secure the door panel with the 4 screws.You're done.
Overall,the safe now weighs 45 lbs,compared to the pre-weight of around 9-11 lbs.

It works great and is very easy to use.I really like the sense of security it provides.It is also easy to set up,which I appreciate.
